Yesterday I bought a pair of Keen Sandals for the trip. I am not much of a sandals girl, but we need them for river crossings.
I found the sandals at Mountain Designs last week for $160, but thankfully I was able to get last seasons colour at the factory outlet for $80. You have to love that!

My ultra fit friend has those exact sandals. She walked up to the top of Australia in them... would be a good ad for them except the walk to the top of Aus is a board walk for most of the 13 km round trip.
